The Yavapai County Sheriff's Office is currently on the hunt for any leads in a string of trailer fires that have struck the Seligman area. Over the course of three nights, four trailers have been reduced to ashes, with the latest incident occurring on Sunday evening around 8 pm near Abba & Conquistador Parkway. The YCSO, which is treating these events as criminal acts, has confirmed that thankfully, no injuries have been reported as the affected trailer was not occupied at the time.
Investigations began after the first set of fires transpired on Friday around 7:30 p.m. off Conejo Rd and N. Sierra Lane. Local community members managed to intervene quickly, working to douse the flames before the Seligman Fire arrived to put out the fires completely. With the series of blazes all taking place close to one another, authorities are not only seeking to quickly apprehend whoever is responsible but also to prevent further potential damage or danger to the community. According to the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office, "YCSO takes public safety and community trust seriously and is utilizing all resources available to help in this investigation."
