Earlier this week, an incident occurred that left a young man fighting for his life after a shooting in Atlanta. According to a report from the Atlanta Police Department, officers were called to the scene at 67 James P. Brawley Drive SW around 1:09 a.m. on July 26. On arrival, they found a 22-year-old male with gunshot wounds to his abdomen, and left arm.
The victim, whose name has not been released, was found to be alert and conscious despite his injuries and was quickly transported to a local hospital. The police have not yet offered any motives or suspects in the shooting, but the Major Crimes Response Team took charge of the investigation, to uncover what led up to the violent act that unfolded early that morning.
