A shooting occurred on the afternoon of Saturday in the Tower Grove South neighborhood of St. Louis, leaving a 24-year-old man critically injured. According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, District 2 officers responded around 4 p.m. to reports of shots fired near the intersection of South Kingshighway and Connecticut.
When officers arrived, the victim was found outside his vehicle and was receiving medical attention. Witnesses at a nearby QT on South Kingshighway and Fyler reported that after leaving the store, they saw the victim’s car come to a stop and then realized gunfire had taken place.
The man, whose identity has not been released, was transported to a hospital, where he was listed in critical but stable condition. St. Louis Metropolitan Police have not released information about suspects or a motive. The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities are urging anyone with information to contact the department.
