An East Baltimore neighborhood is grappling with a tragic event after a 5-year-old girl was critically injured when she was struck by a tow truck. As reported by Fox Baltimore, the incident occurred last night on the 1800 block of Aisquith Street, the unfolding scene revealing the urgency as officers responded to the distressing call of a child being hit.
The girl, understood to have stepped into the roadway, was hit by the tow truck. She was quickly transported to a nearby hospital, where, according to WBALTV, she remains in critical condition with multiple injuries.
