Atlanta's mayor, Andre Dickens, is bringing the community together to support the city's youth with a swing of the golf club. The 2025 Mayor's Golf Cup, an event orchestrated by Mayor Dickens himself, invites participants to hit the greens for a cause that extends beyond the fairway. The proceeds of the cup will funnel directly into the Mayor’s Youth Scholarship Program (MYSP), as reported by the official City of Atlanta website. The MYSP has been a foundation of hope and opportunity, assisting thousands of Atlanta's scholars to chase their academic dreams into the halls of higher education.
Those planning to attend should note that the event begins today at 9:30 a.m. The Mayor's office cautions media members to RSVP through [email protected] and suggests an early arrival at 9:00 a.m. for optimal setup. Parking guidance is offered with a nod toward the gravel lot.
The charitable event will take place at Browns Mill Golf Course, located at 480 Cleveland Ave. SE, Atlanta, GA 30354.
