According to a news release by the Atlanta Police Department, the 44-year-old victim was found with a gunshot wound at 2268 Macon Dr. SW by responding officers from Zone 3 following reports of gunfire.
The incident, which unfolded just before midnight on August 16, left the unidentified man in a state requiring immediate medical attention. He was discovered alert and breathing, but circumstances around the shooting remain a mystery.
