Atlanta Police are seeking assistance from the public in identifying persons connected to a recent non-fatal shooting on Edgewood Avenue NE, an incident that left an 18-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his left foot. The victim arrived by private transport at Grady Memorial Hospital shortly after midnight on July 28, Fox 5 Atlanta reports.

The connection, if any, between the two incidents is currently unknown.

Detectives from the Aggravated Assault Unit are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the case, visiting the scene at the 400 block of Edgewood Avenue NE, where the incident is believed to have occurred; however, the motivation behind the shooting and the identity of the young victim remain undisclosed.
