The Boston Police Department is reaching out to the community for help in identifying a man connected to a residential burglary in Roxbury. According to the official Police Department's website, the individual was caught on camera attempting to gain entrance into an apartment building's basement at the 2997 Washington Street yesterday morning.
Suspected of carrying a bag of tools typically used in burglaries, the man was seen again after a similar attempt on July 23 at same location. The police describe the suspect as a Black male in his mid-30s with a slim build, around 5 foot 7 inches tall, last seen dressed in black including a black hat and black hoodie. The authorities believe he may frequent the Roxbury area.
Officers from District B-2 in Roxbury are currently piecing together the details of the case. "Anyone with information is strongly urged to contact District B-2 Detectives at (617) 343-4275," the department's appeal to the public stated.
