High school juniors, seniors, and their parents have an upcoming opportunity to dive deep into college and career planning at the City of Brighton's Growing Grads College and Career Readiness Launch.

Set for Wednesday, Sept. 17, from 6-8 p.m. at The Armory Performing Arts Center, located at 300 Strong Street, the event will be a one-stop shop for future college students and those interested in alternative educational pathways, with representatives from colleges, universities, trade schools, and apprenticeship programs all on hand to provide information and answer questions.

Financial planning is a key component of the event, with sessions focusing on how to navigate the complexities of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the Colorado Application for State Financial Aid (CASFA), specifically aimed at undocumented students in Colorado under the ASSET program; both presentations will be given in English and Spanish, the City of Brighton reports.
