
A 21-year-old man endured an incident on the 6 train in the Bronx last night, when he was slashed across the face. The attack, which took place at the Zerega Avenue station in Parkchester just before 11:35 p.m., left the victim bleeding and in need of urgent care.
According to ABC7NY, the victim was able to board a train to Castle Hill Avenue after the attack. An ambulance met him at the station and quickly transported him to Jacobi Hospital. Despite the severity of his injuries, he was reported to be in stable condition.
Details about the assailant are limited, and police are actively searching for the suspect. News12 The Bronx states that police are looking for a man wearing a black hooded sweatshirt who may be connected to the incident.
