Broward County Commissioner Steve Geller has been appointed to the Finance, Tax & Administration Policy Committee of the Florida Association of Counties (FAC), where he will participate in shaping policies related to taxation and fiscal management. According to an announcement from Broward County, the committee plays a significant role in developing policy recommendations affecting local governance across Florida.
Acknowledging the scope of his new role, Geller stated in the press release, "I'm proud to serve on the Finance, Tax & Administration Committee. Addressing issues like taxation, economic development, and fiscal responsibility is vital to ensuring Broward County, and all Florida counties, remain strong and sustainable."
