
Calimesa witnessed a hit-and-run that resulted in two juveniles landing in the hospital with serious injuries on the afternoon of August 8th, according to the Riverside Sheriff's office. Deputies rushed to the 1100 block of Calimesa Boulevard at about 3:30 p.m. after receiving reports of the incident. Upon their arrival, they found the two injured parties and promptly had them transported to a local hospital in stable condition.
The suspects bolted from the scene, leaving the vehicle behind. Descriptions of the driver and passenger have not been made public. Despite intensive efforts from law enforcement, including the deployment of Aviation and K9 Units, the individuals responsible have managed to elude capture. As of now, details remain scarce, with an ongoing investigation attempting to piece together the events that led to the unfortunate collision.
