Tomorrow, the City Council will recognize the Cambridge High School girls lacrosse team for their state championship win and consider changes to the city’s alcohol code. The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. in City Hall’s Council Chambers and will also be streamed online, as per the City of Milton website.

The agenda includes a consent agenda with routine items, such as a resolution approving a services agreement with United Rentals for restroom facilities at the upcoming Crabapple Fest.

During reports and presentations, a proclamation will be issued honoring the CHS girls lacrosse team, who finished the season ranked No. 17 nationwide. The council will also hold a public hearing on the 2025 Capital Improvement Element Annual Update for the City’s Impact Fee Program, which helps fund infrastructure projects. The update will be reviewed by regional and state authorities as required by Georgia law.

Unfinished business includes an ordinance to amend Chapter 4 of the alcohol code. Proposed changes include adjusting the alcohol license renewal deadline, removing the limited food service restaurant license, and extending sales hours for microbreweries and microdistilleries. These amendments were introduced earlier this month and are scheduled for a vote.

The council will also vote on alcohol beverage license applications for Manor Country Club, White Columns Country Club (both managed by Evergreen Alliance Golf Limited), and Ichiban Steak & Sushi.
