As summer starts to slowly wave goodbye, St. Louis Park is gearing up to say hello to a day of creativity and community. On September 6, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., residents and visitors alike will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the seventh annual St. Louis Park Art Fair. Set within the open spaces of the ROC, located at 3700 Monterey Drive, this fair is not something to simply pass by.
Expect to be able to freely wander among local artist and maker booths, showcasing everything from intricate handcrafts to eye-catching paintings. The fair promises to not just engage the eyes but also to tempt taste buds with an assortment of food trucks and a coffee bar. Attendees will also be treated to live music—because what's an art fair without some tunes to groove to—and art demos that have the potential to really kindle that fiery spark of creativity in everyone.
According to the City of St. Louis Park, the fair isn't just a display of art; it's a celebration of togetherness. There are also exhibits and community art projects, making it a perfect family outing. The partnership between Friends of the Arts and the City of St. Louis Park truly brings to the forefront the idea that art can be a collective experience—a way to connect individuals of all ages and backgrounds.
