A sedan, maneuvering on Donnelly Avenue around 6:25 PM, struck two children on the sidewalk. Tragically, a 4-year-old boy succumbed to his injuries at the scene, while a 6-year-old girl was swiftly transported to Stanford Hospital for critical care, as confirmed by the police department's somber update. The driver, a 19-year-old female from the nearby city of San Mateo, stayed on site.
