A crash on Interstate 69 in Lapeer County killed a 41-year-old man from Clarkston on Tuesday. Curtis Willis was driving a 2018 GMC Savana van when it crossed the center median around 2 p.m. and hit an oncoming vehicle. The van then left the freeway, rolled down a steep embankment, and stopped in a wooded area, as reported by CBS News Detroit.
A crash happened near the Winslow Road overpass in Attica Township. Curtis Willis, who was not wearing a seatbelt, died at the scene, according to ABC12. His van collided with a 2012 GMC Sierra pickup truck and then went off the road.

The 71-year-old driver of the pickup and his two passengers were not injured and declined treatment.
