The Detroit community is on alert as local authorities intensify efforts to locate Jamarcus Preston, a 25-year-old man reported missing since his discharge from a hospital in the vicinity of the 18600 block of Russell on July 23. Appealing for public assistance through social media and news outlets, the Detroit Police Department is urging anyone with information regarding Preston's whereabouts to come forward.
Standing at 5 feet 11 inches and weighing between 240 and 275 pounds, Preston has brown eyes and black hair; identifiable features include a small, light scar on his right cheek, as confirmed by his sister, according to ClickOnDetroit.
An earnest post on the Detroit Police Department's Missing Facebook page encapsulates this sentiment, simply stating, "Please help us find missing Jamarcus Preston." The police have made it possible for the community to assist anonymously if needed by providing contact information not only for the Detroit Police Department’s 11th Precinct at (313) 596-1140 but also for Crime Stoppers at 1-800-Speak Up.
