According to the police, Kamaryi left his residence last Saturday and has not returned since. A description provided by ClickOnDetroit reports that he was last seen wearing a black ‘Nike’ jacket and a ski mask.
The community's concern has grown as the search for Kamaryi continues. Standing at 5 feet 7 inches and weighing 114 pounds, he is described to have black hair and brown eyes. In efforts to widely circulate the details of his disappearance, the Detroit Police Department's Missing has taken to social media, urging both public vigilance and assistance. "Please help us find missing Kamaryi Slaughter," read the plea on the department's Facebook post. Authorities are asking anyone with information to step forward and provide help to potentially aid in locating the teenager.
