Violence erupted at a LaGrange apartment complex when a driver was targeted in a late-night shooting. According to FOX 5 Atlanta, the incident occurred shortly after midnight at Brittany Place Apartments on Hogansville Road. The victim, who was sitting in his vehicle, escaped harm despite being the focus of the gunfire.
WRBL reports that the LaGrange Police Department responded to 1235 Hogansville Road following the shooting. Upon arrival, officers found the man near building 11, his vehicle perforated by bullets. The victim, claimed that he had no knowledge of who the shooters might be or, how many there were. While the man was unscathed, multiple unoccupied vehicles and three apartments also sustained damage from the gunfire.
Investigations are now in the hands of the LaGrange Police Criminal Investigations Division. Both news sources report evidence indicating two shooters were involved, with bullets striking various non-living targets. Despite the chaos and potential for tragedy, it was confirmed there were no injuries among the residents of the apartments struck.
