A woman was found dead in Edmond near E 15th Street and Timberlake Avenue, just off Arcadia Lake, last Saturday. An Edmond police officer discovered the body while on duty. The Edmond Police Department stated on Facebook that “it is too soon to determine or speculate on the cause or manner of death,” as reported by The Oklahoman.
Family members visited the scene last Saturday afternoon and identified the victim as a 27-year-old woman. They said she had been in a vehicle with two men and another woman and had head injuries. Edmond police said, “We ask for the public’s patience as we work to gather and verify facts.” Police said there is no ongoing threat, according to KOCO.
