The forecast for tonight remains consistent with a continued 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms. The temperature is expected to drop to a low of around 72 degrees with mostly cloudy conditions persisting. As we head into Sunday, the weather pattern stays relatively similar with mostly sunny skies during the morning hours and another 30 percent chance for thunderstorms after noon.
In their detailed forecast, the NWS specifies that Monday and Monday night will also see scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening, respectively. There's a 30-40% chance of precipitation, and the high temperature on Monday could reach 94 degrees under mostly sunny skies.
Looking ahead to Tuesday and midweek, El Paso can expect a slight decrease in the likelihood of storms, with just a 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms on Tuesday afternoon. The weather is predicted to clear up by Wednesday, offering mostly sunny skies and high temperatures remaining around the mid-90s. Evening conditions on Tuesday and Wednesday night are expected to be partly cloudy with lows remaining at around 73 degrees. As we approach the end of the week, the forecast suggests a sunny Thursday and a high once again nearing 94 degrees.
