According to the El Paso Police Department, police were dispatched to the scene on Alameda, where they discovered the victim deceased.
The preliminary investigation indicated that the motorcyclist was traveling eastbound while a 2014 Volkswagen Passat was westbound. The collision took place when the passenger car executed a left turn onto Delta, and the motorcyclist, identified as Mr. Vargas, impacted the vehicle. Early findings suggest that speeding and potentially a red-light violation could have to directly contribute to the fatal outcome of the accident.
