The ESL preregistration event in Round Rock has been met with a high volume of responses, so much so that only 40 coveted spots remain for the Fall 2025 session, as reported by the local government's news release. Hopeful registrants may attempt to secure a place tomorrow, August 22nd, at 9:30 a.m., though the chances are slim; alternatively, other ESL class providers such as The Georgetown Project Bridges to Growth, Community Action, Inc. of Central Texas, and Friendship International are recommended.
According to the City of Round Rock, those who manage to preregister successfully will be notified via email about their registration date and time. This is for both Daytime and Evening classes, but they'll have to attend in person at the library to choose their specific class. The ESL program has also announced the introduction of a Business English for the Workplace course tailored for high intermediate to advanced learners, aiming to sharpen their professional communication skills.
The new Business English course, detailed by the Round Rock news release, covers practical topics for professionals to enhance their workplace communication, including job interviews, business emails, workplace conversations, and customer service, among others, participants will be engaged through speaking, listening, reading, and writing exercises with a focus on real-life tasks and conversations.
For those who already possess a strong foundation in English and are seeking career advancement or entrepreneurial success; the course promises to furnish them with not only the requisite confidence but also the critical accuracy necessary for excelling in English-speaking business environments, the course's curriculum will focus on these real-world applications and give its students an edge in the competitive fields they may navigate.
