As the summer season begins to wind down, Bloomington residents have just a few more opportunities to enjoy the Midweek Music & Market series. According to a recent briefing from the city of Bloomington, there are four remaining chances to kick back with live music and local eats every Wednesday this month from 5-8 p.m. at Civic Plaza.
The series, held in the east lot of 1800 W. Old Shakopee Road, aims to fully celebrate the community vibes before they're replaced by autumn's brisk undertones. Visitors can expect to enjoy an array of delicious food offerings from an assortment of local food trucks, to casually browse a variety of goods from farmers market vendors all while being serenaded by live musical acts.
In a statement obtained by the city's official website, event organizers invite community members "to soak up the summer vibes and celebrate community before the season slips away." These events are part of a broader effort by the city to foster a fun, relaxed atmosphere where residents can gather and experience the fruits of local culture and cuisine.
And for those who can't make the midweek festivities, there's still a chance to capture the market experience. The Saturday morning farmers' markets are set to continue at Civic Plaza through October 18. For further details about vendors, music lineups, and general information, enthusiasts are directed to visit the city's website or to directly call 952-563-8877.
