Details of the last Thursday's shooting, recorded just before 9:15 p.m., describe a distressing scene at a Gulf gas station located on the 5700 block of Natural Bridge Avenue where McDowell was found inside a vehicle with a gunshot wound to her head, law enforcement arrived at the scene quickly to find her unconscious but still breathing; this all according to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department's preliminary information.
