The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) will hold a public meeting on September 9, to discuss planned improvements to the Foristell interchange and their impact on traffic in the area. The meeting will take place from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Foristell City Hall, 121 Mulberry St, Foristell, MO 63348, according to Missouri Department of Transportation.
The meeting will be conducted in an open-house format, allowing attendees to stop by at any time during the two-hour session. MoDOT staff will provide diagrams and answer questions about the project. The event will also be accessible for individuals with disabilities, with accommodations available by contacting 1-888-ASK-MoDOT or emailing [email protected].
The project is part of the larger Improve I-70 Warrenton to Wentzville Project, which began in November 2024. Construction is scheduled to continue through 2028, supported by $2.8 billion in Missouri’s FY2024 budget. The plan includes expanding nearly 200 miles of I-70 between Blue Springs and Wentzville by adding a third lane in each direction.
