
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) has stepped in to assist the Dublin Police Department following a severe incident in Dublin, Georgia. A young man, just 20 years of age, from East Dublin found himself the victim of an aggravated assault after sustaining multiple gunshot wounds. According to a press release by the GBI, the grim discovery was made around 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday night, on the 200 block of Riverview Dr. near Riverview Apartments.
A good Samaritan, came across the injured man and immediately dialed 911. The Dublin Police Department was quick to respond and upon arrival, confirmed that the 20-year-old had been shot more than once. As of now, the man is receiving treatment at a hospital where he is listed in critical condition, as per the GBI's press release.
Thus far, the authorities have not made any arrests in connection with the shooting. The investigation remains active, with the GBI and local police urging anyone who might have information to come forward.
