The GeauxPass Customer Service Center located in Golden Meadow will not open its doors today, in light of a scheduled maintenance session. Residents who harbor questions or need assistance with GeauxPass services will not, however, find themselves adrift. A temporary customer service station is operational at the Plaquemines Parish Multi-Purpose Center to ensure that support remains accessible.
According to an announcement made by the Department of Transportation and Development, which was published early this morning, the service interruption is a one-day affair. "The GeauxPass Customer Service Center in Golden Meadow will be closed today, Wednesday, August 6, for maintenance and is scheduled to reopen tomorrow, Thursday, August 7," the announcement stated. Despite this convenience outage, personnel will be on standby elsewhere: the Plaquemines Parish Multi-Purpose Center is serving as a temporary harbor for customer care, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Residents looking to make use of these temporary services can find the Plaquemines Parish Multi-Purpose Center at 333 F. Edward Hebert Blvd., Belle Chasse, as noted in the public notice.
