According to the Facebook post by the Germantown Police Department, the festivity took place in the squad room, inviting anyone who wanted to join in. They stated, "Today we marked K9 Vader’s 7th birthday with a cake made for dogs and gifts provided by our Dispatch team." Photos attached to the post showcased Vader indulging in a peanut butter cake, courtesy of Three Dog Bakery Memphis, and receiving presents from the department's dispatch team.

The local bakery received a shoutout in the police department’s post, which thanked them for providing such a delicious treat for Vader's special day.
