Gilbert Regional Park, a local favorite known for its diverse recreational offerings, is hitting the pause button on swings and slides for a short period. Park officials have slated a maintenance window for the playground that spans from Monday, August 18, to Sunday, August 31. During the closure, while updating the flexground surface, the rest of the park's features will remain firmly open to the public, as per the Town of Gilbert. The beloved splash pad and other amenities, such as the fishing lake and sports courts, will continue to welcome visitors.
