
The Gilroy Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in identifying a suspect linked to a recent robbery on Welburn Avenue. According to the Gilroy Police Department's official Instagram account, the incident occurred around 9:30 PM on Sunday. The suspect targeted a business at the intersection of Welburn Avenue and Church Street.
The individual in question is described as a Hispanic adult male of medium build who is seen sporting a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and black shoes. He also donned blue latex gloves and a face mask during the time of the robbery, and he managed to extract an undisclosed sum of cash from the business' register before he fled the scene on foot, heading north through a nearby parking lot, notably the authorities observing that a distinctive limp might recognize the suspect they believe he may have.
