
Following a year-long investigation into a spree of auto thefts and related offenses, Gwinnett County Police have made multiple arrests. The investigation, which took off on June 5, 2024, has implicated a group allegedly responsible for a widespread pattern of criminal activities including breaking into vehicles to steal credit cards, money, and firearms. These incidents left hundreds from Gwinnett County and beyond as victims of crime, according to a press release from the Gwinnett County Police Department.
The identified suspects allegedly used stolen vehicles as a base of operations for their criminal exploits. Detectives utilized targeted investigative methods to track down the individuals. Eventually, these efforts led them to an apartment complex in East Point, GA., where, with the help of the Atlanta Police SWAT team, they executed a search warrant on August 5. The operation resulted in the recovery of multiple stolen firearms and the arrests of four individuals connected to the crimes.
Kujuan Miliam, 25, of Atlanta, faces multiple charges including felony entering auto and criminal damage to property in the second degree and is additionally charged under RICO in this case. Travion Middleton, 25, from East Point, has been charged with felony theft by taking and two counts of felony entering auto. Lydericus Broomhead, aged 17 and also from Atlanta, along with Kordale Miliam, who is implicated in separate serious crimes including felony murder, were both charged under RICO. Kordale Miliam's existing charges include armed robbery and aggravated assault, and he is currently housed at the Fulton County Jail.
