The Henderson Police Department is investigating two separate traffic collisions that occurred in recent months. One incident in late July resulted in the loss of an unborn child, while the second crash led to the death of a driver approximately one month after the incident.

According to the official report of the Henderson Police Department, the first accident happened on July 28 around 9:25 p.m. near Anthem Highlands Drive and Democracy Drive, involving a white Chevrolet Blazer. The vehicle, driven by a pregnant woman, after having crossed the median and landscaping, collided with a brick wall. Transported to the hospital, the driver survived but was later informed that the unborn child did not survive. Not influenced by speed or impairment, the incident has been registered as the year's seventh fatality by local authorities.

The second collision occurred on June 30 at approximately 8:56 p.m. near Horizon Ridge Parkway and Sandy Ridge Avenue. A black Mercedes sedan struck the median, overturned, and came to rest against a light pole. Both the driver and passenger were transported to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries at the time. The driver later died on July 30, marking the eighth traffic fatality in Henderson for 2025. Speed was determined to be a contributing factor.

The names of the individuals involved have not been released, pending notification by the Clark County Coroner’s Office. Henderson Police are asking anyone with information about either incident to come forward. Tips can be submitted directly to the Henderson Police Department or anonymously via Crime Stoppers. Information leading to an indictment may be eligible for a cash reward.
