The Homestead Police Department is urgently seeking assistance from the public in locating a missing teenager, Micah Bell, who is 17 years old. Bell was last spotted yesterday morning, around 9 a.m., near Blakey Park, which is situated at 600 Southwest 14th Avenue in Homestead, as reported by WSVN.
At the time of his disappearance, Micah was wearing a white T-shirt that bore a cross on the back and gray sweatpants. Authorities believe he was heading south on Redland Road, originating from Lucy Street. In a bid to widen the search efforts, a Florida MISSING CHILD Alert has been issued, a detail shared by the Homestead Police Department. The severity of the situation is heightened by his family’s confirmation that Micah has some cognitive issues, which might increase his vulnerability.
The community is being asked to remain vigilant and report sightings or any relevant information that could lead to Micah's safe return. The police's plea extends to anyone who might have seen him or knows of his current location to come forward either directly to the Homestead Police Department at 305-247-1535 or by calling 305-471-TIPS to remain anonymous.
Similarly, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement emphasizes the gravity of the situation and urges the public to act if they possess any knowledge regarding Micah's whereabouts.
