
A drug bust on East 25th Street near Buckman Street has led to the arrest of a father-son duo in Jacksonville. According to an article published by the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office (JSO), detectives from the JSO Narcotics Unit acted on a tip received in June 2025 about the sale of illegal drugs from a residence in the neighborhood.
After employing investigative methods gradually built a case, a search warrant was executed in July 2025. Found in the search, officials discovered a significant quantity of narcotics, which included 13.1 grams of Fentanyl - the equivalent of over 6,500 potentially lethal doses - and other drugs such as Powder Cocaine and MDMA among the assortment.
The two arrested individuals, Alfred Bell, age 62, and Alfred Bell, age 41, his son, are facing serious charges for their alleged involvement in the drug trade. The haul included 66.2 grams of Powder Cocaine, 28.3 grams of MDMA, 6.9 grams of Crack Cocaine, and 868.7 grams of Marijuana. The Bells now confront multiple felony charges stemming from their supposed operations.
