More than a year after the hit-and-run that killed 27-year-old Morgan Drew Kohn, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office (JSO) continues to search for the driver responsible. On July 26, 2024, Kohn was struck by a pickup truck while walking near Collins Road and Schindler Drive, according to a Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office release.
The JSO Strategic Communications team recently revisited the case, speaking with Kohn’s family and asking the public for assistance. Detectives in the Traffic Homicide Unit have kept the investigation active but emphasize the need for community input.
Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward. Tips can be submitted anonymously through Crime Stoppers. Even small details may help investigators identify the driver and bring resolution to the case.
