
A former massage therapist from Lynn has been charged with rape and indecent assault and battery after a reported incident involving a client last June. According to WCVB, Ronny Paulino Colon, age 32, is alleged to have sexually assaulted a woman at the Swampscott massage therapy business where he previously worked.
Colon faced arraignment this past Thursday, where, facing a single count of rape and five counts of indecent assault and battery on a person over the age of 14, according to a report from Boston25News. His bail was posted at $10,000, under the condition staying away from the victim and that Colon surrenders his passport, while also being banned from working as a massage therapist and possessing no weapons.
The alleged assault took place on June 11 and has sent waves through the North Shore community, highlighting concerns of safety and professional misconduct in personal care industries.
