
A shooting in the Frayser neighborhood of Memphis has left one man in critical condition early Friday morning. As reported by Action News 5, the Memphis Police Department (MPD) responded to a call at approximately 8:08 a.m. at Frayser Manor Drive, where they found the victim with gunshot wounds.
Arriving at the scene, the man was immediately transported to the hospital with injuries that were deemed critical, according to the MPD's findings. While the police confirmed the man's critical status, they have not yet arrested anyone in connection with the shooting. At the hospital, the victim was rushed into care of the emergency team with his condition remaining serious.
The Memphis Police Department continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident. FOX13 Memphis adds that no other details have been released about the possible motive or the suspect.
The area of Frayser Manor Drive, known to residents, became a crime scene that early morning, with the MPD not having anyone in custody yet.
