A tragic shooting in Frayser has left one man dead, as reported by the Memphis Police Department. According to WREG, the incident occurred at around 8:33 p.m. yesterday near the intersection of Overton Crossing Street and Frayser Boulevard. Officers arrived on the scene in response to the shooting and discovered the injured man, who was then rushed to the hospital, but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.
Despite the efforts to save his life, he was pronounced dead at the hospital, Action News 5 reported. The victim was initially found in critical condition outside a strip mall on Frayser Boulevard, close to Overton Crossing Street. As of now, law enforcement officials have not released any suspect information.
The Memphis Police Department is actively investigating the case and seeking information from the public.
