A Maple Heights grocery run turned violent yesterday afternoon, resulting in a man being shot and his car being stolen outside a local Giant Eagle. Cleveland19 reported that Maple Heights Police were called to the scene at the Giant Eagle located at 5321 Warrensville Center Road around 1:40 p.m.

The situation escalated when the victim, who was in the midst of loading his groceries into the vehicle, was approached by a suspect.
