According to a recent news release, the City of Maricopa is opening up applications for its Youth Council, a platform designed to engage young minds in local governance and community service. This council aims to empower young people by providing them with a hands-on approach to learning how their city operates, and granting them opportunities to voice their concerns at notable civic events.
