AG Campbell led a multistate lawsuit in response to the administration's move to freeze these vital funds, which support various educational initiatives, including after school and summer learning, teacher preparation, and resources for English language learners. Massachusetts stood to lose over $107 million, putting these programs at risk, and victory in this case means that the first tranche of funds—originally expected on July 1—has been released, with the next installment due on October 1.
