Early last week, a burglary took place at the Little Caesars on South Perkins Road, resulting in a shattered front glass door and the loss of cash from multiple registers. The theft, reported by the Memphis Police Department, occurred in the dead of night when two male suspects executed their break-in.
It was 12:26 a.m. when the crime unfolded, and the suspects were able to make off with the money before fleeing through the business's back door. Responding a few hours after the reported incident, officers arrived at 9:23 a.m. last Monday to a scene of disarray, with three cash registers emptied of their contents.
The Memphis community was tapped for help as Crime Stoppers, in a public appeal, has requested that anyone with information about the incident contact them immediately. They have advised informants that they can provide tips by calling 901-528-CASH.
