A tip to the Memphis Police Department has led to the arrest of a man on charges of child exploitation, officials reported. The Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, following information from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, arrested 34-year-old Justin Wynn last Monday. According to a social media post by the Memphis Police Department, the arrest occurred in the 10 block of McLean Boulevard.
The department received a cybertip that pinpointed the source of an upload of Child Sexual Abuse Material to an IP address in the identified area. Investigation revealed the upload was linked to Wynn's account, which contained a video showcasing the suspect engaging in sexual contact with minors. This material, a record of exploitation, prompted authorities to take action, ensuring Wynn was held accountable for his actions.
Wynn faces particularly serious charges, including Especially Aggravated Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, Aggravated Sexual Battery, and Sexual Exploitation of a Minor. The Memphis Police Department has an established partnership with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, which assists in cases involving suspects like Wynn.
