The crime involved a break-in of a semi-trailer, during which various tools with an estimated value of $2,800 were taken. According to the Memphis Police Department's report, the incident took place around 2:19 am, and the suspect was recorded on surveillance video.
The complainant, whose identity has not been released, informed officers that the theft was carried out using a white box truck. Memphis law enforcement is working to verify the report by reviewing surveillance footage and collecting any available witness statements.
