
The Memphis Police Department is seeking two suspects after a carjacking incident led to a crash in Overton Square. According to Action News 5, the ordeal began yesterday when a woman was carjacked in the parking lot of the Malco Studio on Square shortly before 6:00 p.m. and was subsequently taken to the hospital in non-critical condition.
Shortly after the carjacking, police officers, who were on routine patrol, witnessed the stolen Toyota crashing on Tillman Street near Walnut Grove Road, as mentioned in the report by FOX13 Memphis. The occupants of the Toyota fled the crash site on foot. Although one male suspect is in custody and has been transported to the hospital, also in non-critical condition, two additional suspects remain at large.
Descriptions of the two at-large suspects have been provided, with one individual described as wearing all gray, and the other dressed in a black hoodie and jeans, as detailed by police and reported by Action News 5.
