Memphis Police Department is seeking assistance from the public following a burglary that occurred in the 4100 block of New Willow Road. The reported incident took place on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at around 10:30 a.m., where a male suspect is alleged to have stolen a weed eater after breaking into a shed. The police were called to the scene, where the male suspect had already fled on foot, disappearing towards Getwell Road.
Described as a male in his mid-30s, he was last seen sporting a blue ball cap worn sideways, adding a touch of casual insouciance to his escape. According to witness descriptions, the suspect also wore a dark-colored shirt, khaki-colored pants, and black shoes. Unfortunately, the suspect managed to slip away undetected until after the crime had been discovered.
