Memphis police are on the lookout for suspects involved in a burglary at a local Home Depot, where several lawn mowers were stolen. The Memphis Police Department reported that the incident occurred at the Stage Road location on August 10, just before midnight. Officers were called to the scene the following morning at 10:25 a.m. after the theft was discovered.
According to the police, the suspects made their entrance in a white box truck with Tennessee plates 270BPQZ. The truck, advertising Precision Air Conditioning & Heating, LLC on its rear door, had been parked at a nearby Shell Gas Station on the west side before the suspects walked over to the Home Depot. They proceeded to cut the lock from the gate and swiftly loaded several lawn mowers onto the truck before fleeing westbound on Stage Road.
Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding the burglary to come forward. The Memphis Police Department has issued a call to action, asking individuals to contact Crime Stoppers at 901-528-CASH with any details that could assist in the investigation.
