Entrepreneurs and businesses in Mesa now have enhanced access to the City's resources designed to help them flourish. The Mesa Business Builder @ The Studios, located at 59 E. First St. has officially opened up its doors wider, offering new regular hours from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Thursday, starting September 2, as announced by the City of Mesa. No longer will making an appointment be a prerequisite to using the common areas, which include collaborative lounges, huddle spaces, and individual workstations, effectively lowering the hurdles to entry for those seeking a space to work and create.

"By removing the requirement to reserve space in advance, we are reducing barriers and creating a more accessible, flexible and collaborative environment for Mesa entrepreneurs and small businesses," said Mesa Mayor Mark Freeman, as per the City of Mesa. Furthermore, while the drop-in option appeals to spur-of-the-moment needs, reservable spaces like meeting and conference rooms, private offices, and specialized areas such as the AR/VR studio will remain available for booking on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Studios is dedicated to equipping local businesses with the environment to nurture their growth and success. This latest move arguably positions the space as a central hub in achieving these ends. "Small businesses are the heartbeat of Downtown Mesa, and the Mesa Business Builder has become a vital resource for entrepreneurs," Councilmember Jenn Duff highlighted the central role small businesses play in the urban tapestry of Mesa, suggesting that the flexible hours will empower the business community to tap into resources whenever the muse or market calls.
