A Mexican national stands accused of sexually exploiting a 12-year-old girl in the Southern District of Ohio following an indictment by a federal grand jury, according to a press release by the U.S. Attorney's Office, Southern District of Ohio. Victor Juarez, 26, is charged with producing videos of his alleged sexual abuse on at least 13 different occasions during October and November 2024.
Engulfed in a maelstrom of legal troubles, in February 2025, Juarez had already been charged with rape in Hamilton County before these federal charges came about, now poised to take precedence. With the FBI’s Cincinnati Division, as well as Cincinnati, Sharonville, and Springdale police departments, weaving through the investigation, the case has drawn multiple law enforcement bodies into its wake. Assistant United States Attorney Kyle J. Healey is leading the prosecution of Juarez.
Sexual exploitation of children is a grievous offense, attracting a federal prison sentence of no less than 15 years and up to 30 years, reflecting the seriousness of these crimes. Juarez faces 13 counts corresponding to the number of instances in which he is alleged to have sexually exploited the young victim.
